    Who We Are

    A specialist firm, not a generalist.

    Beyond Data builds AI and data software for Australian operators in the unglamorous parts of the economy: mining, supply chain, distribution, field service, manufacturing. We work with the people who run the floor and the people who own the P&L, on the decisions that get made every week and cost money when they go wrong. The deliverable is working software, not a set of recommendations.

    We serve growing businesses and enterprise clients across Australia and New Zealand. Delivery is founder-led, with a vetted network of senior associates when an engagement needs more hands. Nobody junior learns on your project.

    Will Turner, Founder of Beyond Data, Data Science specialist with 10+ years experience

    Will Turner

    Will Turner founded Beyond Data in 2023. He came up through food manufacturing and insurance analytics, which is why he starts with how the work actually gets done rather than with the data model.

    He has held several Head of Data and AI roles, holds qualifications in Data Science, and is a best-selling author in the field. Ten years in, he keeps finding the same thing: the reporting is fine, and the decision it was meant to support still gets made in a spreadsheet.

    He writes the code on client engagements and is in the room on go-live day.
